BELOIT, Wis.—For months, Beloit Area Community Health Center has been under construction: new dental operatories, expanded space, updated lobby and other renovations.
Next week, the community health center is inviting the community to celebrate the renewed space with an open house on Thursday, June 8, from 5-7 p.m. at 74 Eclipse Boulevard. The event will include tours by staff and light beverages and refreshments. Media are invited to take a ribbon-cutting photo with CHS staff at 4:45 p.m. June 8, just before the open house, at the main clinic entrance.
Funded in part by a 2016 federal grant for expanding dental services, which will also allow BACHC to hire more dentists and fill a significant local need for oral care, the multi-phase project included renovating the clinic’s front lobby and four dental exam rooms. The entire healthcare facility received a facelift with new carpet and paint.
