Many differences, one mission. Our CHS mission for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion is to celebrate all members of our community, to broaden our collective understanding, and foster a sense of belonging by uplifting diverse identities, cultures, experiences, and perspectives. We believe excellence in healthcare starts with a foundation of inclusion, compassion, and respect for our patients and each other. Our standard of practice is to exist as a fair, equitable, healthy, and inclusive organization that aligns with and supports our patients, our workforce, and the communities that we serve.

To provide the highest level of care to the people we serve, we don’t hide from differences. Instead, we dive in headfirst. We’re building a workplace where everyone shines, belongs, and can be different.  We refuse to be stagnant. We advance equity by aligning our beliefs and actions with the people who need our help the most.
