Stephanie Lake-Melton is a certified Physician Assistant with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from UW-Madison’s School of Public Health and Medicine. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and a deep-rooted commitment to the Beloit community, Stephanie brings both expertise and compassion to her role at CHS.Stephanie chose CHS because she values working in a clinic that goes beyond basic care, offering a personalized approach to each patient. She’s passionate about supporting her neighbors’ health and well-being and loves that patients at CHS are seen as individuals, not just numbers.Stephanie enjoys working as a Physician Assistant because it allows her to provide a wide range of care, from hands-on treatments to health education, to help patients achieve better outcomes. She finds great joy in teaching patients about their health and partnering with them to maintain wellness.Living and working in Beloit, Stephanie loves the diversity of her community and actively works to connect with patients, even learning Spanish to better serve Spanish-speaking families. She also volunteers with the Beloit Regional Hospice and serves on the Board of Directors for the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Program.A self-proclaimed foodie, Stephanie dreams of taking professional cooking classes. She’s also passionate about animal welfare and hopes to open a dog rescue someday.At CHS, Stephanie’s favorite thing is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and their families, working together toward healthier lives and a healthier community overall.
