Farhana Hamid-Scanlin, DNP, FNP-BC, APNP
Dr. Hamid-Scanlin graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP-FNP) degree from Robert Morris University, in Moon Township, Pennsylvania in 2013. She is a fully accredited and licensed provider with a doctoral degree and 10 years of experience in family practice, integrated care, critical care nursing & healthcare technology.
Dr. Hamid-Scanlin brings a wealth of medical knowledge, and interpersonal skills that help patients feel comfortable and confident in all aspects of their care. She has six years of experience working as a primary care provider in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in one of the most impoverished areas of Ohio. She has been providing access to affordable, high quality health care without discrimination to patients across the lifespan. She has expertise in providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders and alcohol dependence with Vivitrol. She is an immigrant from Dhaka, Bangladesh, who came to United States in 2005 to complete her education and pursue her dream to be a health care provider and make a difference in lives of individuals in need.
