A JOLLY OLD PHOTO OP: BACHC offers free, professional photo with Santa

Children and their families are invited to have snacks, make crafts, and take a professional photo with old St. Nick at Beloit Area Community Health Center’s  third annual Cookies with Santa.

No registration is necessary for this first-come, first-served, free event, taking place Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 3:30-6 p.m. at Beloit Area Health Clinic, located at 74 Eclipse Center, Beloit (between the Beloit Public Library and Elder Beerman store).

“It’s our hope that no child feels left out during the holidays due to financial circumstances. We understand that families may be experiencing financial pressures, so we offer this event as a gift to the children of our community,” says organizer Ana Montoya. “Our staff truly put their hearts into this event and transform the clinic into a magical Winter Wonderland.”

Children will have milk and cookies with Santa Claus, have their picture taken and printed with a commemorative holiday photo frame, create crafts with Youth2Youth, and receive a gift. The event has grown substantially, and organizers are preparing to see 200 kids this year. BACHC is especially grateful to photographer Lucas Denson, of Eye for An Eye Photography, who donates his time and talent to supply the photographs.
